Dr. Mohammad Dahman Alshehri

Dr. Alshehri is a seasoned cybersecurity executive, advisor and thought leader in AI-driven security and emerging technologies, currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and advisor for multiple entities. He specializes in designing and leading strategic cybersecurity initiatives, with a focus on integrating AI to enhance threat detection, incident response, IoT security and emerging digital ecosystems. Dr. Alshehri holds advanced certifications including CISM, CCISO and ISO 27001, and has played a key role in shaping cybersecurity capabilities across both public and private sectors. He brings a unique blend of strategic leadership and technical depth, with a PhD in “AI for Cybersecurity in IoT” from the University of Technology Sydney. His work focuses on applying AI and machine learning to threat detection, predictive defense and IoT protection at scale. He holds two patents and has led multiple funded projects in applied cybersecurity innovation. Beyond his executive role, Dr. Alshehri contributes to global tech leadership as an Ambassador for Emerging Technologies (MCIT & Stanford University) and serves as Associate Professor at Taif University, where he trains future cybersecurity professionals. He has delivered advanced training to over 200 specialists and is recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University.
